Cease Communication Request

You may request that further contact about an account stop. Where U.S. debt-collection rules apply, collectors generally must stop after a written cease request, except for limited notices (for example, that efforts are ending or that a specific remedy may be invoked). Stopping contact does not erase the underlying obligation.
